General Update About Stories and Whatnot and General Failiness

Okokokokokokay, I KNOW I’ve been total #FAIL lately. Sorry. Sometimes life doesn’t work out the way we want, but I’m sure everyone reading this can understand. Hopefully? Maybe?

Anyway, Since I haven’t posted an update on this site since April (yikes, where has the summer gone?), I thought it would be a good time to touch base with everyone.

The TFMU was awesome, wasn’t it? I was so happy to meet everyone. I wish there was more time to talk to everyone and see and do all the things Chicago has to offer. MsKathy and theswandive did such a great job organizing the event. I hope I can make it to the next one.

Hello! How are you doing? Is your summer going well? Have you done anything exciting? Tell me all about it in the comments.

Oh, and before I forget, Round 8 of The Twilight Twenty-Five begins on September 1! Sign-ups are currently open. If you don’t have anything to write, if you’ve got a case of writers block, or maybe you’ve never written and just want to dip in your toes, go check it out. It might be just what you need.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, enough about all that stuff, ooza. What about Adore, Adore??!?

OKAY, FIEN!

I am almost finished with Chapter 8 of Adore, Adore. There will be 10 chapters total. It’s all outlined and in my head. The difficult part is finding time to sit down and write it. At some point, I will post the Edward POV that I wrote for PTB’s fundraiser. I plan on writing the entire story from his POV, but I’m not yet sure what kind of a posting schedule it will have. Actually, I might post that today. Cuz I’m a giver. #ebilgiber

Also, AND I’M SO EXCITED FOR THIS!, I’m going to be writing another AU! My plan is to have it mostly written before I start posting, because I don’t want to make people wait for updates. I’ve never written a complete story before posting, and I think it would make for an interesting dynamic. Also there are lots of plot twists and turns, and I want to make sure everything is where it should be.

On top of that, I’d like to write a short sequel to Here in the Garden of Sin, scrapping the last two chapters and bringing the story back in the direction I originally intended for it to go. It had gotten away from me at some point. Some of the things I wanted resolved didn’t get resolved. I considered writing a futuretake in order to close up some open ended things, but I decided I’d rather write the rebuilding of their relationship and expand on Bella’s gift. Besides, so many people said they didn’t think the two of them ending up together would be believable. Well, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

I think that’s all for now. à tout à l’heure !
