{update} Inside Man Chapter 27

There is a particular scene that takes place in this chapter that just happened to be the “original scene” from this story. The one that I had an honest to god Stephenie Meyer-style dream about that started it all. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, it didn’t quite fit in with the path that this story has taken over the last 26 chapters. It was hard for me to rewrite the scene that had been in my head for over two months, but I had to in order to stay true to the story and the characters. I can probably be convinced to write some sort of AU fantasy outtake someday, though. j/s
