Oh, no!!! Oh, Edward…. that totally sucks. :( I’m gonna go ahead and hope it won’t make a difference, bc him being in prison for another year would be hard on the plot, to say the least…but what do I know? You’d make it fabulous, I’m sure. But the P.S. – will you visit me? FTW!!!! I’ve been hoping for that one! Bella won’t be able to resist, will she? Will she?????? *pouty face*
Yeah, the pouty face didn’t make any difference, did it? ;) TY so much, and I’m loving it! I know the quick updates can’t last forever, but they’re awesomecakes for now! :D

These are my first comments…I just began to read a few days ago when someone rec’d your story. Wow, where to begin…how about… What a gripping read! :-) The use of the letters to tell the story is win-win and I love your storyline. It’s feels fresh…like I haven’t read anything like this before and I have read ALOT of fanfic! ;-) I love the poignancy of Edward’s situation, how you elevate his suffering from the generic to something that is palpable, and meaningful. I can feel the weight of his life in prison when I read his letters. This last letter…so heartbreaking… the hopelessness and fear growing in him in excruciating increments as he comes closer to his parole hearing. I also enjoy how you have contrasted Bella’s letters. Her letters are like the outdoors…light and green and sweet air to Edwards colourless cell walls. Her sympathetic, encouraging words are sustaining Edward. But at the same time they torment him don’t they? She is the songbird in the meadow to Edward’s caged bird. *sigh* Very. lovely. story. Thanks for sharing it with the masses and looking forward to future chapters!

I enjoyed reading these chapters also…..I’ve never read anything with this topic before. It was a nice change to read something that does perhaps happen daily to those unfortunately incassarated for act they may have cause this.
I felt as though I was ‘eves dropping’ on personal letters being exchanged to one another. It read so real life like and what actually would transpirer between two people brought together in this situation.
I especially enjoyed and looked foward to reading those ‘one off’ questions asked at the bottom of each of Edwards replies..Thats a great concept…and one that caught my eye…
